Advantages of sports seats in “normal” cars too

FK sport seats meet basic criteria such as sufficient size, spine-friendly seat backs, position of the headrest, effectiveness of the lumbar support and friction-resistant cover materials such as fabric or synthetic leather and they also look really good. But a car sports seat not only provides a sportier look; the back is also optimally protected by sports seats. After all, sports seats were originally used in racing cars, in which high centrifugal forces act and a safe seat for the driver was essential for good driving performance. A sports seat surrounds the driver from the side for this purpose. Hence the name bucket seat, as the car seats in racing and sports cars have clearly pronounced side bolsters that prevent the driver from slipping when cornering quickly. This does not change anything in terms of seating comfort: sports seats are also adequately padded and their angle of inclination and their distance from the steering wheel can be adjusted. A full bucket seat has maximum cornering stability for the driver, but the angle of inclination of the seat back is not adjustable, unless an adjustable seat console is built in.
