By lowering, for example, the ground clearance of the vehicle is reduced and the center of gravity of the vehicle is shifted downwards. In the case of springs, shorter springs with a higher spring rate are usually used, which reduces the body sag when cornering. Harder shock absorbers can also be used to achieve this purpose.
